it is nice to see that folks can take a basic
idea, modify it, use different materials, make it
fit a space and finish with a really great kiln.

andy and heidi got the proportions correct,
flue size, stack...some good burners...they
got some castable, used it for the side walls,
did the standard flat top roof. and, to do that
kiln for 800 bucks is terrific.

they are not cheap, the are prudent. used what
they could get locally at a good cost ratio.

they understood the concept of building a gas
kiln, used that information to make their
own modifications.

nice going to a wonderful couple.
it is always a pleasure to help and advise folks
that take the bull by the horns.
