I recently purchased an out of print book as a birthday gift for my dad,
from alibris.com. They sent me some promo material about used books, and
out of curiosity, I did a search of their site for Ron & John's Mastering
Cone 6 Glazes. I found one copy available from an independent dealer
listed with Alibris. Care to guess the price?
Do you think it was more than new versions?
Waaaaaaaaaaay more - would you believe $252.89 ?!!!!! Must have Ron &
John's signatures inscribed in platinum. Caveat Emptor!
Here's the link if you want to see for yourself (it's long, and if you
lose something when you paste into your browser, just go to alibris.com
and search by title):

If youdo a search on amazon they tell you the book isn't available new
but there are copies used and their prices are so much more than you'd
think also.
