Is any one doing or aware of any glaze formulation workshops in 2007? I
live in the midwest but possibly could go a little farther from home
(Indpls).
Thanks for any info.

I am having one at Mudfire in Atlanta:

It will be a quick weekend, kinda of an overview but I am also planning to
have some small more indepth workshops at my studio 3 miles from Penland
this summer.

Let me know if you are interested,

Hi Sandy

Next March/April I will be in the US conducting a few workshops on
using my grid method for discovering and understanding glazes.
Venues and times are still being negotiated. There are still a
couple of slots if you or anyone else would like to organise one.
Please e-mail me:
ian-ca@currie.to
Please do NOT just click "reply" to this e-mail or your message will
go to Clayart... and apart from clogging up the list, I may not see it.

You can find about workshops, grid method etc. at my website:
http://ian.currie.to/
I will post the itinerary to Clayart once the tour is finalised.

For those friends who have been concerned for me, I am well and
moving ahead. Getting back into wood firing and getting some really
pleasing results. I hope to catch up with some of you at NCECA 2007.

Regards

Ian

How long do the ones at Penland last? A week? More?
Thanks
