I have a Lehman slip casting machine that has been fully restored for sale.
It is the slip-o-matic and i believe it is the model M, one of the earlier
ones they produced and all the wearing parts have been replaced. It has a
stainless steel tank, about 20-30 gallons with a brand new rotor and stator
(pump), a brand new pressure relief valve, a brand new 1/3 HP motor with
reversing switch and a gas-pump style handle. In it's restored state it has
never been used for casting. I was going to use it but realized the forms i
wanted to cast were difficult and once i got to where i could throw 20/hr i
realized i would never use this, plus i don't have space for molds anyway.
This machine pumps slip into the molds, then when you reverse the motor it
pumps the excess slip back out of them.
Looking back it was a real waste of time for me to fix this thing up, i
spent a lot of money on the parts and it is hard to believe i ever even
thought i would be into slip casting - i am just not the type. So for $200
it can be yours, i have more than that invested in it but that is ok.
I live near cincinnati and i would consider delivering it or meeting
someone half way if you live anywhere in the OH/KY/TN/IN area.
