I have an oportunity to buy an A66 Paragon kiln for $25. It only has a 3-st=
ep dial and plug in for another section. It has no kiln sitter or timer. =
=0A=0AWould it be worth my while to tear apart the cage/box and replace it =

Judy,
You can add a Bartlett controller for about
$250 if you are capable of building the rest
of the unit from components.
Modular controls are available from
Seattle Pottery Supply for around
$550.
Contact Dawson directly to get a
kiln sitter if you believe you must
have one. I don't think you need one
if you fire attended since you will
watch the witness cones anyway.
