I am doing some testing on stains today, I am using them in
engobes.
I have basic colors-a few blues, a green, and a yellow stain.
I have already tested them a few times alone, now I wanted
to mix two stains together, and try adding oxides in with
them.
I am interested in adding iron oxide in with my blues and green, and yellow.
Also mixing a blue stain with a green satin, etc.
Today I am trying for some darker colors, I know to add more % stain than
I generally do with oxides.
Anyway, if anyone here has done this, and remembers anything specifically
to do or not do, I appreciate it.
I am familiar with working with engobes, just not the stains.
