Hay Crew,

Man am I glad to get 4 days off in a row this and next week from W*M and
it is raining too much to brush any, which keeps me inside and resting
for a change. Just givin 'er day and night cutting greens at night after
the day job to supply customers with wreaths and greens. It was real nice
to have Olof in the woods with the moon lighting the Balsam just enough
to see they were pudgy double needled for quick wreath making. As the
moon wained the dark crept in and I learned to snip with my eyes closed
once I found a spot with the AA Mag-Lite. Good thing I had Olof with me
when hunting season got going because more than once we have heard the
wolves and coyotes fighting over the gut piles left by successful deer
hunters. But we managed to get some good greens for the greenhouse and my
peoples wreaths without getting eaten. During the packing I came up with
an idea for setting a cup or bud vase in the center to make a nicer gift
package. This is one result...

So I pray next spring the kiln will get done so the making can start.

Along the way another episode of The New Greenfield Village Pottery got
uploaded to...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NWqva1liChc

In this we see the indoor kilns with the unusual damper/flue system and
some finished pieces. I hope you enjoy the tour and learn something.

Well thanks to those who helped me with this process in the work cycle
I'm developing at this studio and got some wreaths. I'm still going to be
making a few more wreaths available for delivery so if you are interested
let me know soon. If not enjoy the holidays anyway, be safe, and stay in
there!
