Wayne and Lisa,

I should probably get this out in the open early so someone can jump in
but I'm going to be doing the Photography Seminar this year. I'll have
many other things to do this time around.
I don't have any special photography knowledge, I just organise it and
let the experts do their stuff. It's not really difficult and the
"panelists" are always willing to give their time if they are available.
So, really, anyone can do it, even either (or both) of you. (that would
keep it in the "family" ;-)
I'm willing to be a resource; share the contact addresses, tricks of the
trade, etc with whoever wants to do it but I won't be organising it this
time around.
It's been such a well attended and helpful event. I've enjoyed doing it,
so have the people participating. The editors participating all agree
that it has raised the level of quality of submissions to their
magazines. It would be a shame to miss a year because I couldn't do it.

Ru and Wayne,
I would like to see a presentation like the one we had in Charlotte,
where folks could bring their slides and have them critiqued - it's been
awhile since that was done, lots of newbies since then, etc. I am
willing to haul my slide projector up there, and I have a small silver
screen (Can you say 1968?), if someone else can arrange a means to show
digital slides.
ALSO: I will again arrange for folks who are interested in the
photography workshop to have dinner in the room so they don't have to
dash around searching for sustenance, because time is tight between the
clayart room events and the NCECA opening events. That has worked very
well in the past - I will call the Galt House and find out what they
have on offer, and also find out if the Clayart Room will have a
projection screen - some of the conference rooms have those nowadays.
