i will be conducting a cone pack workshop in the clayart
room at nceca louisville.
it will be a 7 hour, over two days, at a cost of:
$874.50. cones and clay extra....let's say 20 bucks.
i will have slides, hands on with demos and you
can take home at least 10 cone packs..(depending on
cone number...)
we will feature:
cone packs with vermiculite
cone packs with sand
itc your cones for re/use
how to use just one cone for each
firing...and then, how to use junior cones
for wood fired kilns. (just one)
porcelain cone packs
and i have asked michael wendt to
assist me in this workshop. (mr. tech pants)
cone packs that i love/used of course, from
special firings. (movies for this section.)
shino cones with a reservoir for the melted
cone 012.
so, sign up now, don't wait.

Hey Mel, can I follow you and show folks after they learn to make the cone
packs, show them how to use them a 2nd time by hanging them upside down in
the kiln?
I guess I'll need to tell them to fire to the 6 o'clock position instead of
the 3 o'clock position.
