I have done this with the smaller twigs (1/4 inch or less) using a cone =
4-6 paper clay slip and dipped the twigs three or four times (drying in =
between each dip). They are fragile and break easily but are =
interesting and delicate to look at. One might reinforce them to then =
coat with a lower fire glaze after figuring out how to not let the =
glaze touch the kiln shelf. ( hang on nichrome wire from something ?)=20
So, if you want big ones....make a mold. June H
