lost cheapo slab roller thread

I'm not sure what happened but the thread I started vaporized from my
email. I was trying to open the last message posted to it...my Gmail
account hiccuped and POOF! The thread is nowhere to be found.

Anyhoooo, I did see Vince say something about inline skate wheels being
"exotic." I've looked at new replacement sets of them before and they're
really not very expensive...but since I wasn't really considering marketing
this idea...new isn't necessary for me anyhow. I was just cooking up a
morning project.

I often see pairs of inline skates at the thrift stores for $1-5 (and
usually on the low end of that) so one of these constant depth rollers could
be put together for next to nothing using old parts (And, next to, Next To
Nothing using new parts.).

I also thought I'd mention that a similar wheel but with a larger diameter
can be found on those Razor Scooters (and the wheels for those don't cost
that much either...new or otherwise.) I have bought two of those death
traps at thrift stores just because they looked like something I could
butcher for parts...for 'something'. One was $2.50...the other which was a
different brand JD Bug was $3.50. This seems much more time/money
conserving than cutting inferior wooden wheels that perhaps have bronze
bushings inserted to me...but do it your way Vince...don't let me hold you
back.
