Karen,
Put the bats on or near your heating source for your studio. I have a
wood stove, in my studio. I dry wet wood around it over nite. I also
stack freshly made bats under a bisque kiln when I fire it. Quick and
easy. Mike Gordon

Moving air will dry things faster than any other method. Put your bats
where a fan can blow on them. An oscillating fan works best.
If you have a stove, and can blow the heat over the bats - mores the better!
