help me decide on an electric kiln

It sounds like a good buy on the kiln and I might expect packing/shipping to
run almost the same amount.

Contact a couple freight companies and get quotes for shipping. Not sure if
the trucking company will pack the kiln though. Might have to bring in a
third party for packing. Perhaps a local packing/shipping place will do it.

The kiln must be on a pallet. There should be thin sheets of styrofoam in
between each section, including bottom & lid, or at least thick cardboard.
Then attached to the pallet with plastic strapping with cardboard in between
kiln and strapping. Then a large cardboard box covering the entire thing.

Insure for almost cost of new kiln and be certain to open the box and check
kiln on arrival with the trucker there.
