jessiman/cub creek fire

At the request of friends, I am posting the ff:

John Jessiman's house burned down. He had been on a
trip to Richmond. When he returned, he found his house
in flames. The phone wasn't working in the studio so
he had to drive a ways to make a call. No one was in
the house. The house is completely gone and
everything in it including his 40 year collection of
art. All gone . His computer was in the house and so
he could not email his friends.

But the Studio is OK , which is a separate building (
always a good idea ! ) and the facility for residents
is OK , so the Cub Creek Foundation can continue. Of
course the 3 residents who are there this year lost
whatever they had in their rooms in the fire.

What a bummer! How sad to start the new year with your house in ashes.
My own house is currently at the end of 18 months of renovation, having put
more than 200 G's in the process. From the start I decided to "fireproof"
this all wood nationally historical designated dwelling. I developed a
liquid fire resistance substance based on more than 4 decades of
applications at high temperatures.

Structural framing materials ,inclusive of all exterior sheathing.of my
house ,were treated . I did extensive testing on a wide varity of wood
products to assure that applying it to my own house would safeguard any mis-
fortune such as Cub Creek!

This patentable material is now being tested in Texas for certification.
This month I will have an active website available. Titled: FRANK'S
FIRESHIELD When John's house is rebuilt, I will offer a donation to assure
that this never happens to him again.!
