Subject: Dining in Louisville

With less then six dozen days left before NCECA, planning
is getting into high (well, at least higher) gear.

Accordingly, would any of you Louisville natives or cognoscenti
care to look at the following and recommend your favorites:

Many thanks,

Hello,
I saw the question about good places to eat and here are a few of the best!

1. El Mundo 2345 Frankfort Ave. Lou. 40206 899-9930 Great Mexican
-fish tacos! or anything- Best Mexican!
2. Thai Taste 1977 Brownsboro Rd. Lou. 40206 897-7682 -everything
is great and there is never a wait--seems to be a real secret- Authentic Thai
3. Zen Garden Inc. 2240 Frankfort Ave. Lou. 40206 895-9114 (all
vegetarian)
4. Shiraz They are located on Frankfort Ave. but they're new and just
moved to a new location. 891-8854 They're often busy but they move fast- Best
Mediterranean!
5. The Grape Leaf 2217 Frankfort Ave, Lou. 40206 8971774 Greek
6. Osaka Sushi and Japanese 2039 Frankfort Ave 894-9501 This is my
good, handy sushi that is not usually too busy.
7. Sesame Chinese 9409 Shelbyville Rd. Lou. 40222 339-7000 A really
nice place with great food
8. Sapporo Japanese Grill and Sushi ( Best sushi ) 1706 Bardstown Rd.
479-5550
9. The Vietnam Kitchen 5339 Mitscher Ave Lou 40214 363-5154 It's out of
the way and usually busy at dinner time on the weekend...but worth the wait!
10. Clifton's Pizza Co 2230 Frankfort Ave. Lou 40206 893-3730 Thick fat
pizza, usually with live music on the weekend.
11. Ferd Grisanti Italian 10212 Taylorsville Rd. Lou. 40299 267-0050
call for reservations
12. The Irish Rover 2319 Frankfort Ave. Lou 40206 899-3544 Just order
the fish and chips

These are ALL not just good places but GREAT places to eat! I know there are
many on Frankfort Ave (near where I just happen to live-lol) but that's just
where they are. I just bought a new studio in the area and I had my old
studio just off Frankfort Ave. for 6 years. I've lived in this area for 12 years.
Bon appetite!
