great articles on redefining craft web site

updated wed 10 jan 07

Check it out.

Dennis Smith's interesting web blog, Redefining Craft, has some provocative
current offerings and is worth a visit.

The article from the web page that is his CODA speech (you can listen or
download a PDF), is a good one (it's like a PowerPoint online w/narration) .
The PDF is 2+ megs, and 83 PDF pages, so it's a sizable file. Some very
interesting points, well worth discussion, including craft's attraction to
media vs. art's use, and various discussions of critical theories within
craft. LOTS of fodder for discussion.

I've never considered my mugs as
post modernist but,,,anythings worth
a rethink.
