At the risk of splitting hairs a split hare is only half a stew.
A milner is someone who works a mill (used to be commonly miln).
A milliner makes hats, sells things from Milan. Faenza is in Italy. A
fiance is someone we trust.
Majorca is the Castilian for Mallorca. Should we credit the Catalans by
calling it Mallolica?
A girl walked into a bar and asked the barman for a double entendre. So he
gave her one.
That's language; worth thinking about, but not too much.
