Sorry to be a pest, but please advise on kiln floor. I am converting my old
Cress 7cu electric to a dual fuel kiln. I have new elements on the way,
will dip them in the proper ITC and follow Mel's and Feriz's instructions.
I am ready to spray the interior of my kiln with ITC 100, but need to get
some answers on the kiln floor. It is coated with old kiln wash, rather
thick in places. I don't know whether to try removing the kiln wash and
risk damaging the floor itself, or just spray over it. Maybe leave it the
way it is, and put an ITC coated shelf over it?

AAAANNNDDD - is it advisable to grind up pieces of IFB and add to the ITC
200 patch compound to patch some of the spots that need attention?

Thanks for your help and expertise - I do appreciate it!
