Hi y'all-
I recently acquired a small, 10ish year old Paragon TNF 82 kiln, has a =
DTC100 controller. Basically, it seems to be just a glorified =
pyrometer. All I can do with it is program a rate of temp rise and a =
final temp, then it shuts off. No hold, no soak, no nothin'. Any =
ideas about how I might "fool" this thing into slow cooling for me, or =
bypassing it altogether? Silly me, I guess I should have researched the =
thing more before I picked it up, but I had no experience at all with =
kiln controllers and I figured I'd have more control over the thing. I =
feel like I had more control w/ 3 switches and an analog pyrometer! =
Thanks in advance for any bright ideas.

Tracy,

Contact Arnold Howard at Paragon Industries and talk to him about this.
He will be able to help you a lot. You can also get a manual on the DTC
100 controller from him.

Good Luck,
