Hi:
They aren't the same clay. Both come from the same region but they are
different clays mined and marketed by different companies. WC5 is a
product of Wilkinson Kaolin Associates of Gordon, Ga.
If you look at the percentage analyses of these clays you'll see that they
are different but very similar. WC5 is often subbed for Sapphire and 6
tile kaolins.
