I have been rereading Mastering cone 5 Glazes and really love the idea of
using a series of glazes with expansions from low to high as a method for
testing a clay body. I will soon have access to a cone 10 reduction kiln and
wondered if anyone has applied this method to this temperature range and
developed a series of glazes for this purpose?
It would save me lots of work and get me past the testing and to the pots
much sooner.
Thanks, Ben

Ben,
Yes, there is an article in studio Potter magazine by Jim Robinson,
titled "Body Building for Potters". I don't know the issue, probably
10-15 years ago.
He developed a range of glazes to do exactly what you describe.
