Forgot to mention -- if you spray paint with ANY system you will get
overspray, with the arguable exception of electrostatic systems, which are
not appropriate for stucco walls. Airless systems produce much less
overspray than conventional airspray or HVLP, but you will still need to
mask if overspray is unacceptable AND if what you do NOT want to overspray
is adjacent to what you are spraying. Unless the stucco you want to paint
is a very small area (like three or four square feet, max) the Critter or
any other airspray system is not going to make you happy at all.

You want an "airless" spray system for this. Not one of those little hand-
held Wagner toys, but the kind house painters use. I believe you can rent
them at Home Depot or any tool rental store.

Fred,

Thanks. I have been to a number of paint stores to get input and they have
all pretty much said "to spray means to overspray" I thought perhaps the
clayart community would have the secret. Lo and behold, there appears to be
no secret which means I will be rolling for days and days on end since I
cannot tolerate overspray. Thanks for your thoughts and input. The last
paint store the young fellow said " you will be very very tired rolling all
of those areas" So be it! It appears there is no other way.

Hi,
I wondered if you had thought of hiring an aspiring pottery student to do
the work in echange for some lessons?
I always fond painting outside so much more interesting if there's someone
to do it with.
But then i like painting. I find it very soothing. And you get to see
immediate results as your work prgresses which is cool
Just a thought...

Anne, in Saint-Sauveur who would gladly come and paint for you in exchange
for pottery skills...
if you weren't so far away ...
