Thank you to all who answered to enlighten me and make suggestions! Looks
like I will be making a couple of test batches of this glaze.
I made a small batch tonight, subbing Gerstley Borate. We did have some of
that in the classroom, and I read in Ceramics Monthly that the frit we
don't have can be subbed one for one to replace Gerstley Borate. So why
not the other way around? I'll let you know how it goes.
