My favorite catalog just arrived. All items are so expensive that I've never
ordered from it, but I enjoy seeing what's new in the art of home
decorating world.

I was attracted to some round ceramic balls with swimmers
in different poses that were actually incorporated into the roundness of
the balls, entitled Swimmers Balls. Least expensive were $275 and most
costly were I think around $700. As I was thinking that if I had that kind
of money I'd order a couple right then..... I noticed the name of the clay
artist... Marie Gibbons! Must be our Marie Gibbons, don't you think? They
sure looked as if they could be her work!

Speaking of having a Voice. Marie clearly does big time!

For SURE, Joyce.
I`ve admired Marie`s work since I joined this list, often Googling her to
see what she`s been up to.
Talk about how one`s work changes., voice, mood, style !..and about
cold finishes.
I`d love to have any of her work..from the past through today. A very
intelligent, talented and skilled worker of clay.
Google Marie. She`s been busy.

Best wishes from Lela whose planning to shovel a pathway through the snow to
my kiln.
Weather lady promises above freezing temps Thursday for my bisque firing.
Shelves of
greenware are straining.
