to 4:30 PM

Tony will demonstrate various throwing, altering and forming methods
including faceting, interior/exterior manipulation, sculptural treatments
with throwing techniques that emphasize technique over strength. Tony will
be making both traditional functional pottery as well as demonstrate ways in
which to push the work into the sculptural realm. Demonstrations will cover
the use of the wheel and construction of forms by altering work both on and
off the wheel as well as multiple part pieces thrown and put together. Tony
will have tea bowls, tea cups and other work for sale at the workshop
including a new tool line he has developed.

I am pleased to host Minnesota Ceramic Artist Tony Ferguson in my San
Antonio Texas studio for a 2 day - weekend workshops. Both days of the
workshop will provide valuable information both in photographing your own
ceramic work and clay forming techniques demonstrated by Tony. These two fun
days at my studio will be loaded with the right stuff you need to know in
two critical areas necessary for your own artistic growth.

Reservations are limited to 15 people each day. I wouldn't want you to miss
either day. So right now, fire off an email to me saying you want to attend
both sessions. dneese@satx.rr.com
