Don't forget your public library. They might have or be able to get some =
great books. Plus, they might have or be able to get videos. Robin =
Hopper's "Beginning Throwing on the Wheel" comes readily to mind. (That =
might not be the exact title.) DIY used to have a series with Bill Van =
Gilder called "Throwing Clay." You might check and see if it's still on, =
or if videos are available. Videos are a great way to sit at the feet of =
some wonderful potters.=20

You can also subscribe to Pottery Making Illustrated - I think it comes =
out every other month.=20

Best of luck to you, and welcome to the clay cult.

Jeannean Hibbitts
in Astoria, Oregon, where it's a bit wet - and where I'm still jazzed at =
being able to sit at the feet of Portland ceramists Don Sprague and =
Patrick Horsley last week. They put on a wonderful workshop at the =
college here, telling us nearly all their secrets and inspiring me to =
finally try throwing a big pot. Yeehaw!
