Too, the Museum at Williamsburg ( called the
'Williamsburg Museum', I think, ) would likely
have various informations written through the
years about this.
I have one of their small 1950s pamphlets on
Colonial Pottery and it is wonderful, if lacking
in Life-story info on the Potters themselves...but
I am sure such info exists within their archives
and publications.

Not sure about dates in History of USA but there is a collection of =
articles published by Antiques Magazine Library called "The Art of the =
Potter", edited by Diana and J Garrison Stradling. ISBN 0-87663-960-0. =
Seems to cover a period from late 1600's to the end of the 1800's. Lots =
of illustrations.
