i didn't see your original request for glazes
(probably just as well :)
so i will just pretend i have useful advice
anyway....(always a good strategy....sort of)

i have noticed a rather fabulous assortment of shells
and rocks lining the beaches here .every time I walk
there i want to gather them up and take them to the
studio and make glazes that look just like that..and
that...and that. today there was a weathered shell
that had peachy cream crusty formation on one side,
then soft as smooth matte peach to rose to deep
vibrant coral in one area, a surprise of a minty to
lime green in the center, with of course a hint of
mother of pearl shining out from its weathered bone
surface... and don't get me started with what i see on
the stones.... ah! i'd love a glaze with that smooth
yet not shiny stone surface...and the veins, the
inclusions, or the soft subtle change in color and
value.....

and then , there are many fine examples of tree bark ,
bird's eggs, and leaves here, oh yes and flowers...
and then there are variations of sky colors....

i think you should come take a walk on the beach here
especially as that is ONE of your official duties...
the Pacific has felt somewhat neglected in that
regard, though i tell it that the inland sea is a
demanding project which does require executive
attention, and it is a sea near and dear to the
Vikings.
But i guarantee you will find a number of
inspirations for a glaze.....

oh oh, were these ideas suppose to be of a technical
nature?
