A colleague, Andr=E9e Valley, and I are teaching a workshop July 27-29 in a=
=20
great facility
in Dodgeville, WI.

It is called: Function is Optional - Spouted Vessels and Cups
The workshop will focus on hand-built or wheel-thrown spouted vessels and
cups. Participants will investigate form, function and whimsy through=20
hands-on projects.
Bacia will show how to texture surfaces by pulling curled wire through a=
block
of clay and how to combine slabs with thrown parts to form pouring vessels=
=20
and teapots.
Using various forming techniques, And Andree will explore how mugs and cups=
can
range from vessels of utility to objects of metaphorical expression.
