Greetings, all:
A colleague, Andree Valley, and I are teaching a workshop July 27-29 in a
great facility
in Dodgeville, WI.

It is called: Function is Optional - Spouted Vessels and Cups
The workshop will focus on hand-built or wheel-thrown spouted vessels and
cups. Paricipants will investigate form, function and whimsy through
hands-on projects.
Bacia will show how to texture surfaces by pulling curled wire through a block
of clay and how to combine slabs with thrown parts to form pouring vessels
and teapots.
Using various forming techniques, Andree will explore how mugs and cups can
range from
vessels of utility to objects of metaphorical expression.
