Hay Crew,

Mel got me to thinking with that bit about firing like makin love...
kinda got me a little hot. Then I started wondering what sex the Hobagama
would be if it needed sexing. Well it has the ancient Chinese profile
like the leg of a big woman, and a turn of the last century European
firebox with a long pig nose. Kind of a hybrid of the male firebox and
the female chamber. The chimney is just the chimney, it has no
significance whatever except maybe to draw the breath. The male heat
warms the seed of the golden flower. On another hand it could be a
hermaphrodite, which is OK too now a days but I don't think the neighbors
would get it. And a third option could be had when taking into
consideration the automatic self stoking nature of the Bourry firebox
resulting in an auto-erotic kiln. Rather fitting for me cause I've had a
lot of people tell me to do that to myself for years.

Thought it would start warming up out there to do some work but not
lookin like it. Just managed a walk about scoping out some Cedar poles
for a shed. Not much snow but it's just been too darn cold to go out with
the saw. I don't think we need to drop many of these for a decent frame
with a metal roof...

That was a couple days ago... we just got dumped on again, 8" in day. I
skipped work Sunday, they sure won't go broke if I'm not there once in a
while. And I wouldn't go broke for about 6 months if they decide to kick
me to the curb which doesn't seem likely since they gave me another raise
to stay. No wonder I been feeling like someone was watching me the last 6
weeks... it was management getting ready for my annual performance
review. Guess I met most of their expectations and exceeded in a couple,
customer service is one of my favorites, if I can't find what you are
looking for at least we will have a laugh on the way ah. But still, I
don't think $.40/hr. looks like I'm gettin paid extra for doing standup
street theater therapy. I've heard laughter is used in therapy.

Looking through some early video I found Peter's lecture about the
formation of the mineral rich iron range underneath us in Dickinson
County. The lighting isn't great because the generator needed running to
charge the battery but the geological concept is more important than
details of roads. I think it adds an ambience of pirates planning a dig
for treasure on land after a long time at sea. Peter was a reactor
operator on subs in the Navy. A couple miles North West of the farm along
the Pine Creek ridge are outcrops of Titanium crystals the guys are
gonna show me so for any of you rock hounds here is some of how they are
formed...

Some of the old timers might get a kick out of a story Mom likes to tell
about how she figured out how to sell records in Detroit in 1940 just
before the war. The first part is...

Mom mentions intuition in how she picked the music and in another
upcoming interview about seeing a composition in painting with an
intuitive eye.

And part two...

Gave it up for the love of her man!

One thing people don't do now a days is interrupt the flow of luxuries
during a war. "Gummy Handcuffs" for Valentines candy from... yep...
youbetcha... China. I read something to the effect that it isn't how much
we have but how little we need that makes life worthwhile.

Still love and stay in there ah!
