Hi Everyone,
I've included Michael's info on Vince's handbuilding workshop below, because
I attended Vince's handbuilding workshop last summer, and enjoyed it
enormously. I highly recommend Vince's presentation to people interested in
learning more than they already know about handbuilding. I found Vince to be
such a good teacher, with so many skills to teach that I invited him to be a
presenter in my studio in early June.
For people interested in learning all about colored clay, making it and
using it, I am bringing Vince to my studio in scenic SW Colorado on Monday,
June 4th through Friday June 8th. The price of $325 includes 50 pounds of ^6
clay, stains for the clay and lunches.
The workshop group will consist of no more than 7 participants, Vince and
me, and my studio equipment includes a large slab roller, 2 wheels, and an
electric kiln. There will be lots of opportunity for personalized
instruction with a group this size, and this workshop is designed for people
with some clay experience to very experienced clay people. Vince is a master
of colored clay!

My studio is located in the beautiful San Juan mountains of SW Colorado, at
almost 9000 feet, just outside the city of Ouray. For information on Ouray
(pronounced You-Ray) check out: http://www.ouraycolorado.com/ There's a
nice photo of the city in winter on their home page. My studio is located 2
1/2 miles outside the city. There are a lot of motels in Ouray ranging from
inexpensive and decent to expensive, and there are also several campgrounds.
