We all face the daunting task of reclaiming scraps. Why not streamline
the process-go from slip to slab in just a few easy steps? In this
two-day workshop participants will learn (through observation and
hands-on) how to make paper clay slip from studio scraps and paper clay
slabs of various thicknesses. Next participants will explore a variety
of surface decoration techniques using slip application, paper resists,
inlay, brushwork, and texturing tools. Finally, students will have the
opportunity to make sculptures or vessels that take advantage of this
thick, thin, wet, dry, smooth or textured, versatile material
