Yes, it will be CNC but the average CNC is for flat surfaces like counter
tops. etc. This is a multi-axis CNC for 3-D. The original piece was done by
the stone company via the computer and looked "marshmallowy" and the scrolls
were not even close to being correct (golden section). It is (for me) harder
to get the detail via computer than by hand. I am actually more worried
about the plaster pour and the shipping than the sculpting. :)
