Well Tasha, I can't believe they didn't offer you a
class on Marketing Slip cast Ceramics!
You need to add X demand to your equation.
You also didn't say if it is an intricate mold you designed yourself
or just a utility piece. I would suggest....
1. Make a few visits to Slip cast ceramic shops and check out
the pricing and demand of similar items.
2. List one of your pieces on Ebay and see how much attention it
receives.
3. Shop for similar items and compare.
4. Once you settle on a price but find you aren't selling any, it's too
much.
If they fly off the shelves and you can't keep up with demand, it's not
enough.

I would add to Angela's comment that it is infinitely better to
underprice your work and later increase the price, than to find you've
overpriced it and lower the price later - which would severely damage
your image. And image is too valuable of a resource (and one you get
to choose) to risk.

Tim
