I had "tea" with Shoji at his studio in Japan in 1970. Didn't have a chance
to pick up some of his publications at the time - he hadn't written them
yet!

Hello,

For anyone interested in Shoji Hamada books, I recently found a couple
very good ones composed mostly of photos of Hamada's work. I've sold
these particular titles before and had very good feedback on them. They
are very nice records of his work, and to my knowledge, they are not
available in the west.
I have listed them on ebay as follows:
http://cm.ebay.com/cm/ck/1065-29296-2357-0?uid=2030890&site=0&ver=LCA080805&item=110105427416&lk=URL

If for some reasons the links don't work, you can search via the listing
numbers:
110105427497
110105427416

Please check them out if you are so inclined,

Mike

Again, for anyone interested, I've uploaded a photo catalog of Tomimoto
Kenkichi's Retrospective Exhibit from the National Museum of Modern Art
in Tokyo, from 1991. Beautiful book, but I didn't want to start a whole
new thread for it, this being blatant sales email and all that.

Listing Number:

Thanks for your indulgence,

Mike
