I have been looking into the Smoke firing process a bit deeper and I find
that different sources suggest different cones to bisque to for the best
results. I am using a cone 6 Raku clay and also a cone 6 porcelain paper
clay for Raku. Both work fine for that now I am wondering if they would
work as well with smoke firing...I know I know...Try it, but it is still a
bit chilly here just a wee bit north of the border...So for now I am
pondering the possibilities....

I think both should do fine in smoke firing. I use paper clay raku
and also terra sig on porcelain.
I bisque around ^09 and fire smoke firing to 1600 and Raku to 1850.C.
