Well here is what I found in that old "chit-chat"
archive. I hope this is what you need. A lot of tests
were done on these glazes but the discussion was
largely off line & it's all on a 3.5" PC floppy and
I'm using a MAC now. Again! This is just a recipe
copied and pasted. Results may vary. Was it the #7 you
wanted? I can't remember here is the #1-#20 series.

A nice "shino like" white breaking to orange

A very nice dry glaze. Great for sculpture. Varying
from a pale blue tint to a turquoise tint.

Dry. Mid grey/blue with yellow green flecks. Good for
sculpture.

thicker.

Other than for a pink glaze I have never used Chromium Oxide. I see it
being used here a lot and only in a couple glazes is the color in the pink
range. Could someone please educate me on how it is working in the glazes
that are not pink and why or how does glaze #5 has pink specks in it?

P.S. the yellow green I get - lots of Chrome - I guess from that I can
understand the orange now that I think of it. Given the toxicity of
Chromium though wouldn't Iron with Tin be just as good?
