Paul,
First congratulations on your book. It looks really good.
Second, the microwave kiln is very small, for a normal home
microwave, the interior is wither about 3 inches round or 6 inches round.
Just big enough for a 4 inch tile inside.
It fires to 1800 F in about 5 minutes.
The results looked passable, and similar to fused glass temps.
The microwave was a standard hoame model.
They said it would be ready for consumer aps and sales in about
a month or two.
But I am not sure which booth it was, probably Spectrum.
I walked in ready to pay the hundred bucks and start on some
glass jewelry and attachments for my raku lids, but they said it
was not for sale yet.
Hope they read this and identify themselves....
