Dear Tom Wirt,

You say<$100 per gallon, took less than a few tablespoons per ton and was a =
fairly common food additive.>>

Sounds like a miracle cure to me, and there seem to be a lot of them =
about these days!

Without a full rundown of the ingredients and their proportions it seems =
to be bit of a fizzer bringing that information to your attention.

There are a lot of synthetic plasticisers. Is it Van der Bilt who supply =
this sort of thing ? Could be wheat they use for stabilising Ice Cream.

Best regards,

Ivor Lewis.

South Australia.

Blunging is a process or mixing the solid ingredients of a clay body =
with a copious amount of water to produce a slip. This is then =
De-watered to create a plastic body or adjusted to become a casting slip

Done in an industrial sized Kenwood kitchen mixer, with a few =
modifications.=20

Google "Blunger".

Thanks, I did google it, but I think the other post had a misspelling
(bludging?), and I came up with this definition: "BLUDGER: noun, a person who
lives off the efforts of others; a person who does not pay his fair share or who
does not make a fair contribution to a cost, enterprise, etc., a cadger; an
idler, one who makes little effort."
