My daughter is in school in Finland as an exchange
student this year and I am hoping to go in the spring
for a visit and a 3 or 4 week trip. I would like to go
to not only visit her but also to England, Scotland,
Ireland, Spain, perhaps Italy and Greece as well
as more of Scandinavia...I am a professional studio
potter and am hoping to find potters that will trade
space to stay for work or exchange space to stay
here with me...not to mention wanting to see their
studios and how they work...If you know of any
potters in these areas , and have their addresses
or better yet e-mail addresses please forward them
to me. Thanks!!! Liza Bach lnbach@earthlink.net

Hi Liza

I don't know if I can help you or not. I will be moving to London, England
this Sept. 28th. Our accomodations will be small and spartan and we have 3
young children. I am quite new to pottery and have little time to plunge in
at this stage of my life but hope to make a career of it in a few years time.
I plan to learn as much as I can in England and return to Toronto a few years
later ready to apply this.

I would be happy to have you visit/stay with us. Privacy and quiet are at a
premium and I will not have my wheel or kiln with me, but may be able to
introduce you to potters in the area and would appreciate any instruction you
could give me in terms of glazing, marketing or any other areas of running a
successful pottery.

If this interests you, feel free to contact me at:

shoskin@msn.com

in the next week. I don't know how soon I will be able to get set-up with
ClayArt after such a big move!!
