I have friends who like to paint their own bisque and have it glazed and
fired by a shop, however, they don't have a great source of bisqueware.
I'm a rookie here, can anyone tell me if it's possible to import
bisqueware into Vancouver, Canada or if there's a local supplier around
here.

We have a good source for bisqueware (low fire) in the Portland, Oregon
area. They are called Georgies Ceramic and Clay Co. and most of their pieces
are dinnerware made with a big ram press. I know they would be happy to
ship. Their address is 756 NE Lombard, Portland OR 97211. Phone #
1-800-999-CLAY. They also make a complete line of low fire glazes etc...
