Mayco Colors, a producer of glazes for the hobby ceramics, craft, school
and commercial markets, is looking for an experienced Ceramic Engineer to
head its ceramic R&D department. We are looking for someone who has had
at least five years' experience in formulating and developing glazes for
commercial use. The position will supervise one full-time and one
part-time ceramic engineer and two techs. In addition to R&D the
position will supervise ceramic quality control from initial batching
through final production.
We prefer a candidate with at least five years' experience in formulating
and working with glazes. A degree in ceramic engineering is preferred,
but not required. We are located in an attractive and growing suburb of
Columbus, Ohio. Salary is open based on experience, but we will be very
