The Cambridge Pottery Festival is June 6th, 7th & 8th. There will be over 40
potters exhibiting their wares. In addition, the Pottery Games, (formerly
the Pottery Olympics, until we got a friendly, yet firm threat from the U.S.
Olympic Committee) will take place both days; preliminary heats on Saturday,
finals on Sunday. Saturday night 'Potter's Ball" features Blues recording
artist Long John Hunter, and lots of bar-b-que ribs, chicken and microbrew
beer.
The Cambridge Invitational Ceramic show opens on Friday night, and this year
features work from Janet Mansfield, Bob Briscoe, Josh Dewise, Jeff Oestreich,
Randy Johnston, Steve Rolfe, Michael Simon, Scott Roberts, Sylvia Granitelli,
Sherry Glasser, Sang Robertson.
