In response to the messages from Boyd and Cathy regarding self-employed
insurance, I would recommend that you check with Blue Cross/Blue
Shield. They have Select 2000 insurance for small businesses and the
rates are far cheaper than that mentioned by Boyd. My wife and I pay
about $350 per month for this health insurance for both of us. I
believe the policy has a yearly $250 deductable and normally pays 80% of
the first bunch of money (not sure how much). Note - I am not an
insurance salesman!
