As far as I can tell Robertshaw Controls company is the only
manufacturer of infinite kiln switches. Do any of you out there in
Clayart land know where I can obtain these switches wholesale. I
have a few of them to replace and therefore I am not really
interested in paying top dollar.

Iinfinite switche used for commercial range cook tops will work aslong as
the switchs has correct Voltage and Amperage capacity. I have gotten
switchs for my kilns from Johnstone Supply in Columbus, OH. 1-800-837-4179.
I am sure that there are similar supply house in your area. You could try
W.W. Grainger they may have them also.

The standard infinite-adjustment kiln switch is identical to the one used on
many newer electric ranges. The Grainger's catalog (a must for every studio
artist) lists a universal replacement infinite range switch which works fine
in most newer electric kiln applications. I do not have a catalog here at
home to give you the phone number. If you do not have it, email me and I
will get it from school.
