I've been taught that once bisqued, you can forget about the slip. It
won't stick. I know that once bisqued you can forget about terra sig -
it absolutely will not stick and then sloughs off in nasty patterns.

Through experience, I've come to dearly love white clay because of how
brilliant the glazes fire on white clay.

My guess is that if you're using a transparent or translucent glaze,
you will notice a difference in the color which may or may not be
pleasing. If you are using an opaque glaze, I don't think there's going
to be much difference in color.

Can you get some white tiles and use them for test tiles to see the
difference in glaze color on the final produce?
