Hi All, My studio is looking to upgrade our plastic stools 18 inches
tall
for the potters wheel.I am looking for about 20 metal stools and need
ideas on where to get a good price. So far I found 22$ each but 200$
shipping.
My school is a not for profit and do not have lots of money to spend.
Thanks, Gina Mars

Check out municipal and school surplus auctions. Hospital surplus,
colleges, civic - any institution has to move obsolete stock. They
will be posted in the public notice section of the paper. They are
usually cash and carry. There are some business that broker these
things through bricks and mortar places too. Look for salvage
businesses. Some will even search for you.
I bought 3 video carts from a school auction many years ago and use
them all the time in my studio. The used to use them for hauling TVs
and projectors into classrooms. Great wheels and they've got
electrical outlets to boot.
Do an online search for listings too. It's amazing what's out there.
