Harming a fetus is not a crime. It's not a crime because until the fetus =
=3D
takes a breath, it's not a human. That's a legal definition and it may =3D
be very different from any religious definition.=3D20
If harming a fetus were a crime - think about all the pregnant women who =
=3D
smoke, are around smokers, drink alcohol, drink caffeine, take OTC meds, =
=3D
take prescription meds, take street drugs, work in dangerous =3D
environments, and on and on and on.=3D20
This why there are wrongful death suits but no wrongful birth suits.=3D20
Okay, now I'm going back to playing in the mud, playing with fabric, =3D
playing with dye pots, and playing in a sketchbook.=3D20

Hi Deborah, all...
Claims of damages in Civil Suits of course are a different matter than
application of Criminal Complaints.

If harming a fetus were a crime......
Then agreeing to taking away prenatal care for the poor would be a crime!
