Creative Director Wanted
One of the leading manufacturers of ceramic products for hobbyists,
schools, do-it-yourself studios and commercial manufacturers seeks a
creative director to help it aggressively move to the 21st century. We
are looking for someone who has some familiarity with fired ceramic
glazes, but you need not be a dyed in the wool ceramist. A good sense of
design, skill at identifying color and product trends, and the ability to
communicate verbally and in writing, are more important than your
ceramics or pottery background.
You will be responsible for supervising our ceramic decorators,
developing project ideas, selecting new colors to be added to the pallet,
writing techniques for consumers, creating concepts for new mold designs
and a host of other creative activities. Sculpting and/or illustration
skills would be a definite plus, but are not required.
We are located in an attractive suburb of Columbus, Ohio, and will
provide an attractive salary and benefit package. Please send your
